As any one who was at the inDIYpedent fest in napa this past weekend will tell you; it was an amazing meeting of several different realms of art and expression both audio and visual (even taste wise at a booth or two!) and here we have an article about the whole event in the Napa Valley Register and a video detailing IC during it’s second day brought to us by Verb-1.

For alternative artists, art can happen anywhere. A piece of garbage is transformed into a sculpture, a paper plate morphs into a canvas and common household paint is used to create a multi-part collaborative mural.
Even an empty warehouse that serves as a furniture storage facility during the week can turn into a working piece of art, as it did over the weekend during Wandering Rose’s InDIYdependent Culture Faire.
On Saturday and Sunday Napa artists teamed up with artisans from Solano and Sonoma counties to shake up the valley’s art scene with a festival dedicated to alternative art forms, music and culture.
“It’s kind of a mixture of what’s cool,” said Vallejo artist Sherwin Rosario, who along with his group Individual Collective, painted a five-part mural at the warehouse Sunday.
